Communications among terminals are limited on the Internet today

A terminal such as personal computers connected in LAN hooks up to the Internet by using the private IP address allotted by the NAT function of the modem and the router, sharing the global IP address with two or more terminals.

Such a method is adopted so that a present network may effectively use limited number of IPv4 addresses.
However, it is not possible to reach the terminal with private IP address from the outside of LAN.

Emotion Link enables the virtual Internet on the Internet and achieves two-way secure communication among terminals.
Emotion Link is a reformative solution that changes an existing restrictive network into secure and free Node-to-Node network.

1. Client-Server system structure

Emotion Link consists of "Emotion Link client" and "Emotion Link server." Emotion Link clients communicates each other via Emotion Link server.

2. Communication using unique IP address

Terminals use unique IP address (EL-IP address) allocated by Emotion Link server to communicate.

3. Non NAT-depending communication achieved by IP tunneling

Emotion Link client and server keep TCP session and activate two-way communication.

4. Secure communications on SSL

Communications between Emotion Link client and server are encrypted with SSL to avoid falsification and sniffing.
Several encryption methods are available including AES 128bit, which provides you same secure communication as ordinary VPN does.

5. Ready for both IPv4 and IPv6

EL-IP address, virtually allocated to Emotion Link client, is compatible to both IPv4 and IPv6. Therefore, users can realize IPv6 communication over IPv4 network, or bridge over IPv4 and IPv6 network.
